How are pheromones made, i mean the type of pheromones used in colognes and perfumes?

Oh and do pheromones really work to attract the opposite sex?How are pheromones made, i mean the type of pheromones used in colognes and perfumes?
They're derivatives of the male pig sex hormone androstenone.Do they really work?Studies have been carried out showing women entering a movie theater will almost invariable choose seats that were sprayed with androstenone, whereas men would avoid those seats.Studies have also been carried out showing that bills coated with androstenone will get paid asap by men because apparently the same hormone causes fear/dread in men.

Studies have also been carried out showing that pheromones don't workHow are pheromones made, i mean the type of pheromones used in colognes and perfumes?
im not 100% sure, but i heard they were extracted from animal fats, and then treated chemically. ( they use pigs i think, because their skin is so similar to ours)

and actually in parfumes for men, they often use female pheramones, and in parfumes for women they use male pheramones. this is not to make you more attractive to the other species. but so the person that wears it, becomes more at ease.
